About Suzie Buchholz & Suzy Barnard

Two painters, Suzie Buchholz and Suzy Barnard, work in their respective studios near the water’s edge, on opposite sides of the San Francisco Bay, separated but also deeply connected by the power of the sea. The artists created five collaborative paintings, a collection called “Dancing on Water”, which are a vivid demonstration of the artists’ private conversations with the marine environment and their shared interactions with each other’s work.
