Tara Kelley-Cruz

Tara Kelley-Cruz is a mixed media painter who applies layers of paint, found ephemera, image transfers and drawings that she then cuts into exposing earlier layers in her work. She builds a rich texture, as her paintings become beings with their own inner histories. Her work relies heavily on form, color, composition and texture. Tara lives and works in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
