Robert Roth

A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Robert Roth approaches his work by inventing from nature. Roth has a wide range to inspiration from the turn of the century early British painters to the Abstract Expressionists, such as Jackson Pollock, Rothko, Diebenkorn, and Rauschenberg. His works are held in public and private collections, including The Ritz Carlton, American Express, The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Presidential Suite Grand Hyatt Kauai, Columbia and Northeastern University.  Roth has received numerous honors, including Medals from The Cleveland Museum of Art and New York’s Hecksher Museum. He spends much of his summer on the island of Martha’s Vineyard and resides and paints in his 1850’s barn studio in Northeast Ohio.
