About Wendy Robushi

The obsession of repetition lies at the root of Wendy Robushi’s work. The simplicity of the image belies the complexity and laborious nature of the process involved in creating each piece. Created using hand cut paper and acrylic paint, her patterns are created with hand painted dots and are then coated with acrylic medium to provide durability and protect the paper from the elements. Robushi received her MFA from UC, Berkeley. Her work is included in many private and permanent collections, including Stanford Medical Center and Paypal, and has most recently been included in the de Young Museum Open Exhibition, San Francisco.
