About Jay Kelly
Jay Kelly has been a professional artist for more than 20 years, creating intricate, near photorealistic collages out of old discarded paper – primarily vintage magazines and books. This technique develops layers of meaning and stories in each piece, with sometimes thousands of bits of paper, all taken out of context, coming together to create something new. Kelly’s work is exhibited and collected world-wide. A Bay Area native, Jay Kelly graduated from UCLA and now lives and works in Venice, California.
