About Pamela Kogen
Whether listening to a soundtrack in her studio or afloat on the San Francisco Bay, Pamela Kogen’s experiences inspire and influence her work reminding her of the constancy of change. Kogen’s mixed media paintings are an abstract response to this ever-changing environment, one in which color plays a significant role. Her painterly abstractions integrate the free spirit of her line and mark-making, a vocabulary developed through a rigorous drawing practice. In her paintings, gesture and form intertwine creating a sense of spirited openness. Her studio in located in Sausalito, CA.
