Swiss-born Monika Steiner paints compositions of circular, organic forms that surface and recede, suggesting energy and matter briefly coming into view before dissolving again. Her work balances serenity with drama. A magna cum laude BFA graduate of Sonoma State University, she has exhibited nationally and internationally and created public sculptures for the SF General Hospital Foundation's Heroes & Hearts project.
