Fort Worth artist Joey Lancaster works in plaster, pairing an age-old material with a distinctly modern vision. Self-taught, she draws on twenty-five years in the decorative arts, including study in New York City and Southern California. Her pieces isolate a single element of nature, such as the bark of an aspen or the petals of a flower, to reveal both its simplicity and its intricate beauty.
