Scott Hazard

Scott Hazard’s works are a meditation on land and the cultural lenses through which we perceive, experience and engage with our environment. He builds intimate portal-like spaces and micro-landscapes using numerous layers of paper that are carefully torn or cut, spaced apart and aligned to define sculptural voids. His work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States and featured in numerous magazines and online publications including The Washington Post, Oxford American, Monster Children, BOOOOOOOM, Juxtapoz, Hi-Fructose, and Colossal. Hazard is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
