Jenn Shifflet

Jenn Shifflet’s work is an exploration into the inner experience of time, the perception of light and color, and reflections of the natural world.  Each painting is slowly built up of many thin transparent glazes that become saturated color, depth of space, and luminosity over time. Shifflet’s work is in private and public collections worldwide. She was an affiliate artist at the Headlands Center for the Arts. Solo shows include an exhibit at the Macon Museum of Arts and Sciences, Macon, Georgia, the Hardin Center for Cultural Arts in Gadsden, Alabama and additional exhibitions at the Smithsonian Museum, The Corcoran Gallery, and The Walters Museum in Baltimore.
